Job Purpose
SOFTWAVE TECH SOLUTIONS LTD is seeking a skilled Social Media Manager to plan, manage, and grow the company’s online presence across social media platforms. The role supports the company’s IT consultancy and technology services by increasing brand awareness, engaging target audiences, and driving consistent digital communication aligned with business objectives.
Salary
£42,000 per annum
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and implement social media strategies aligned with the company’s IT consultancy and technology services
Manage and maintain the company’s social media accounts across platforms such as LinkedIn, X (Twitter), Facebook, and Instagram
Create, schedule, and publish high-quality content including posts, graphics, videos, blogs, and promotional materials
Plan and execute social media campaigns to promote IT services, software solutions, and business initiatives
Monitor social media channels, respond to comments and messages, and engage with followers in a professional manner
Track trends in technology, digital marketing, and social media to keep content relevant and engaging
Analyse social media performance using analytics tools and prepare regular reports with insights and recommendations
Collaborate with marketing, sales, and technical teams to ensure consistent brand messaging
Manage online reputation and handle sensitive or negative feedback appropriately
Support wider digital marketing and communication activities when required
Skills and Competencies
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong understanding of social media platforms, content strategies, and audience engagement
Experience using social media management and analytics tools
Creative mindset with strong organisational and time-management skills
Ability to analyse performance data and optimise content strategies
Good understanding of digital marketing trends, particularly within the IT or technology sector
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field
At least 2–3 years’ relevant professional experience as a Social Media Manager or in digital marketing
Experience working in or with IT, technology, or consultancy-based organisations is highly desirable
Working Hours
Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
