Job Purpose:

SOFTWAVE TECH SOLUTIONS LTD is seeking a skilled Web Designer to design, develop, and maintain modern, user-friendly websites and web interfaces for clients and internal projects. The role involves working closely with developers, consultants, and clients to deliver high-quality digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design visually appealing and responsive websites and web pages
• Create website layouts, wireframes, and user interface designs
• Develop and maintain websites using HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript
• Ensure websites are mobile-friendly and compatible with different browsers
• Collaborate with IT consultants and developers to implement design solutions
• Update and maintain existing websites based on client requirements
• Optimize website performance, usability, and accessibility
• Follow branding guidelines and ensure consistent design standards
• Test websites and fix design or layout issues
• Keep up to date with the latest web design trends and technologies

Skills & Competencies:

• Proven experience as a Web Designer or similar role
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript
• Experience with design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, or similar
• Understanding of UX/UI design principles
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Web Design, Graphic Design, IT, or a related field (or relevant experience)
• At least 1–2 years of relevant work experience preferred
